CISCD Students....Please submit your Project Brief by SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24th

Visual Arts students from various schools were involved at various levels with vivacritique up until 2012, when it was laid dormant. As I am now back in the classroom (albeit for only a few lessons a week) at CISCD, as our A level students are taking Studio Arts as an 'elective.' All students will engage in creating Independent Research Work Books exploring their ideas and research, resulting in planned final Studio Pieces.

The philosophy behind viva critique is allow visual arts students to use 21st century learning tools to share their work and ideas and interact with their peers. We believe that this collaborative platform has the potential to deliver many benefits for participating students, in particular to develop their critical reasoning skills. This is not merely a 'shop-window' or an online gallery, but an interactive, collaborative forum, where students exchange written and oral critical feedback. Students can share their work with other International students from around the world.

Arts students

- students develop the necessary skills to evaluate the work of other's, thus improving their ability to analyze their own work.
- This is also a two way process that could include possible, ideas, new artists, techniques and resources.
- Students experience a wide range of approaches from different students in different countries, with different teachers
- When the exchange merits it, students print the exchanges and paste them in their work book.
